What is changing with Stocky?
Shopify says Stocky will no longer be available after August 31, 2026. Shopify's own migration guidance recommends exporting the records you want to keep before the deadline. Historical purchase orders and stocktake history do not automatically move into Shopify, and suppliers cannot be exported from Stocky.
Shopify's native inventory tools remain useful for inventory management, transfers, purchase orders, and adjustments. Replenly is an optional focused workflow for merchants who also want sales-velocity reorder suggestions, supplier-facing PO workflows, and a repeatable replenishment routine.
Prepare before August 31
- Export the Stocky reports you need for historical purchase orders, stocktakes, and cost records.
- Finish or document open Stocky purchase orders and decide where outstanding receipts will be managed.
- Recreate supplier records from your own records. Stocky does not provide a supplier export.
- Test one reorder and one receipt in your chosen workflow before the deadline.
Where Replenly fits
Reorder intelligence
See products that need attention using sales velocity, supplier lead time, safety stock, on-hand inventory, and inbound stock. Suggestions are estimates you can review and adjust.
Purchase orders and receiving
Create supplier POs from reorder suggestions, receive them in full or in part, and write received product inventory back to Shopify. PDF and email POs are available on eligible plans.
Location stocktakes
Choose one active Shopify location, count the eligible tracked products with known quantities, review variances, and apply corrections with a durable stocktake history. Physical stocktakes are available on every plan.
Supported CSV setup
Import supported Stocky purchase-order CSVs. Replenly also provides templates for supplier and product settings data that Stocky does not export directly. Historical imports do not change Shopify inventory quantities.
Common migration questions
Does Replenly import Stocky suppliers?
Not from a Stocky export — Shopify says Stocky does not provide one. You can create suppliers in Replenly or upload a CSV using the supplier template and your own records.
Do the plan SKU limits restrict stocktakes?
No. Free, Growth, and Pro can count all eligible Shopify inventory-tracked products at the selected location. Plan SKU allowances apply to reorder forecasting and recommendations.
Does Replenly replace every Stocky feature?
No. Replenly focuses on replenishment, purchase orders, supplier workflows, receiving, ingredients, and location stocktakes. It does not claim to provide transfers, barcode scanning, or a full ERP.
